Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a skilled AMI Functional Consultant to join the Infosys SURE unit, focusing on AMI, CIS/MDMS integrations, and domain-specific product evaluation within the utilities sector. The role emphasizes leadership in multi-team environments and driving project success across Billing, Metering, and Work Management processes.

Ideal candidates will have experience in AMI implementations, CIS/AMI integration, and functional business processes tailored to regulated utilities,

Qualifications

• Experience in utilities CIS and/or AMI, MDMS implementations.
• Experience with Integration of CIS/AMI with other systems such as Field systems, Call Center, Web, Asset and Work, Outage etc.
• Experience with functional understanding of business processes required for AMI rollouts, Metering, billing, work management etc in regulated utilities.
• Experience with requirements modelling and other tools to improve quality and productivity of IT teams.
• Experience of leading development teams, working with client teams/SMEs at operational and leadership levels.
• Experience in preparing and executing testing involving AMI projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies, to ensure timely project completion.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating effective communication through regular meetings and milestone reviews.
• Support functional teams in managing advisory and consulting initiatives focusing on domain specific product evaluation, benchmarking studies and domain specific system configurations.
• Monitor project deliverables across all phases, to meet established quality benchmarks and stakeholder expectations.

In the assigned Job Role of Domain Project Lead 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies, to ensure timely project completion

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience in utilities CIS and/or AMI, MDMS implementations
• Experience with Integration of CIS/AMI with other systems such as Field systems, Call Center, Web, Asset and Work, Outage etc
• Experience with functional understanding of business processes required for AMI rollouts, Metering, billing, work management etc in regulated utilities
• Experience with requirements modelling and other tools to improve quality and productivity of IT teams.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Ability to mentor distributed teams and operate effectively in multi-vendor, multi-location delivery environments.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in Rosemead, CA will be Min $96713 to $132661
