Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an AMHS Site Reliability Engineer to guarantee 24x7 reliability of the Material Control System and OHT Control System, addressing bottlenecks and networked communications. You will modernize AMHS infrastructure using Python, Java, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Your work blends software engineering with MES, building scalable data pipelines and comprehensive observability. You will implement Prometheus and Grafana monitoring, and orchestrate services with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of work experience in semiconductor-related industries.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes or experience in a semiconductor fab environment.
• Proven hands‑on experience in Software Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Strong background in Back-end Data Engineering and managing large data pipelines.
• Observability and middleware with Prometheus, Grafana; experience with RabbitMQ and Redis.
• Strong English communication and Linux/Unix administration skills.

Responsibilities

• AMHS Control Software reliability: ensure high availability and scalability of AMHS software suite.
• Back-end data engineering & monitoring: design and maintain data pipelines and observability solutions.
• Incident response & software troubleshooting: be the primary escalation point for AMHS software issues.
• Operations automation: develop automation scripts and tools for deployment, configuration, and recovery.
