AMHS Handling Systems Technician

Job summary

TSMC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking AMHS Handling System Technicians for a full-time temporary/contract position with rigorous 2–4 month training. Training may run on a regular M-F 9am-6pm schedule or a compressed 3/4 - 4/3 rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts, including night shifts, based on trainer availability.

You will be involved in AMHS device installation and qualification testing, device maintenance, and wafer handling in a cleanroom setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and documentation.
• Ability to work under a compressed schedule, days or nights.
• Positive, multi-tasking attitude under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Cleanroom work in PPE including coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses and gloves.
• Able to wear clean room suit for 12-hour shifts in the FAB.

Responsibilities

• Learn and become familiar with manufacturing/engineering processes and changes.
• Recover tool condition from maintenance or troubleshooting to ensure high quality production.
• Oversee AMHS device installation and qualification testing.
• Sustain and improve AMHS device performance in cleanroom environment.
• Conduct hand-carry of wafers when necessary.
• Support a startup business culture.
