Job summary

TSMC Washington, LLC in Camas, Washington is seeking an Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) Technician to perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, setup, and troubleshooting on stockers, MDLPs, and automated vehicles in a fast-paced cleanroom. This role follows a compressed 12-hour shift schedule (4/3/3/4) with day or night rotations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Robotics, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years hands‑on in Mechanical Systems, Electrical/Electronics, or Automation Software & Systems
• Technical literacy with databases (SQL or similar) and MS Office
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and SOPs to resolve issues
• Fast learner with the ability to multitask in a cleanroom environment
• Teamwork and safety-focused with compliance to protocols
• Willingness to work 12-hour compressed shifts including day/night rotations
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and calibration of AMHS equipment (Stockers, MDLPs, automated vehicles).
• Diagnose and repair hardware using blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Monitor AMHS for anomalies and take corrective action to protect Fab operations.
• Manage system configurations during alarms or maintenance windows.
• Navigate AMHS software interfaces and troubleshoot software‑to‑hardware communication.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers on complex issues.
• Maintain precise equipment logs and shift handoff reports.
