Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an Equipment Technician to join our 5-nanometer fab in Phoenix. You will perform preventive maintenance on state-of-the-art 300mm equipment, inspect quality post-PM, and respond to system and tool errors on a 12-hour shift.

You will review SPC charts, manage spare parts lifecycle, and participate in safety, continuous improvement, and training activities. The role requires ability to work on cleanroom floors in PPE, and a compressed work week with rotating days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Able to operate computer systems and analyze production data.
• Follow detailed instructions and document tasks accurately.
• Work in a cleanroom and wear PPE as required.
• Lift according to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Willing to work compressed weeks and rotating shifts.
• 12-hour shifts, 3–4 days per week on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on 300mm semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom.
• Perform visual inspections post PM.
• Respond to error messages of factory systems/equipment.
• Review SPC charts for process quality and troubleshoot defects.
• Sustain and improve spare parts management across lifecycle.
• Participate in continuous improvement and skill development.
• Work safely and support EHS & Security requirements.
• Additional duties as assigned.
