Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an Intelligent AMHS Engineer to join our 5-nanometer fab in Phoenix, AZ. You will supervise vendor installations, troubleshoot AMHS equipment, and coordinate field service engineers to resolve issues on the production floor.

The role emphasizes leading improvement projects with suppliers and manufacturing sites, while managing multiple priorities and ensuring smooth line operation in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Software focus: Computer Science, Information Management, Transportation Management.
• Hardware focus: Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt priorities and support business needs.
• Team player capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.
• Additional skills such as mechanical aptitude, project management, system design.

Responsibilities

• Supervise vendors to install and sustain AMHS systems for ramp-up factories.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and analyze AMHS performance metrics.
• Coordinate Field Service Engineers on the manufacturing floor and lead root-cause analysis.
• Lead equipment continuous improvement projects with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate downtime and recovery expectations with the factory; document learnings.
• Respond quickly to changing priorities and manage overlapping projects.
• Manage daily activities of AMHS Technicians to support smooth production lines.
