Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an Intelligent AMHS Engineer to join the 5-nanometer fab in Phoenix, AZ. You will supervise vendor activity, troubleshoot AMHS equipment, and lead cross-functional teams to drive resolution of issues and continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.

As part of the AMHS group, you will coordinate downtime recovery, review technical specs, and manage daily technician activities to ensure smooth production lines and high reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teams.
• Team player able to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Additional skills: mechanical aptitude, project management, system design.

Responsibilities

• Supervise vendor to install and sustain AMHS system for ramp up factories.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, collect performance metrics, analyze AMHS systems.
• Direct Field Service Engineers on the manufacturing floor and lead root cause analyses.
• Lead continuous improvement projects with suppliers and manage implementation.
• Coordinate with factory on downtime and recovery expectations.
• Review equipment specs and provide feedback to improve error recovery procedures.
• Respond to changing priorities and manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
• Coordinate daily activities for AMHS Technicians to support production.
