Job summary

Hillsdale Treatment Center seeks a Program Therapist (AMFT) to deliver mental health services to adults in PHP and IOP programs in Tustin, CA. The role includes assessments, individual/family/group therapy, and discharge planning within a structured outpatient team.

The ideal candidate is clinically strong, organized, and comfortable working under supervision to support continuity of care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or related field.
• Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an AMFT.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with adult mental health populations.
• Knowledge of clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Understanding of crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and therapeutic modalities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and assist in treatment planning.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
• Facilitate structured therapeutic groups as part of daily program.
• Support clients in managing symptoms and life stressors.
• Assist in discharge planning and aftercare coordination.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
