Job summary

Apex Recovery Rehab in California seeks a Program Therapist to deliver clinical services to clients in individual, family, and group settings. You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, provide psychoeducation, and facilitate relapse prevention under DMC-ODS guidelines with LPHA status.

You will supervise AMFTs/trainees, coordinate with the Clinical Director and Medical Providers, ensure documentation meets state and payer standards, and participate in

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field required.
• California license LMFT/AMFT, LCSW/ACSW, LPCC/APCC, or Clinical Psychologist/Associate required.
• Minimum 1 year post-master’s clinical experience in mental health/SUD.
• Experience supervising AMFTs/MFT trainees per BBS.
• CPR/First Aid, TB clearance, and background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and discharge summaries.
• Provide individual, group, family, and couples therapy using CBT/DBT and trauma-informed approaches.
• Ensure billing/documentation meets DHCS, DMC ODS, and payer standards.
• Provide clinical supervision to AMFTs/MFT trainees as appropriate.
• Coordinate with medical providers and care team for integrated care.
