Sotheby’s Wine division seeks an experienced wine auctions professional in New York to cultivate relationships with top clients, secure valuable consignments, and guide buyers across auction and retail channels. You will inspect wine properties, support marketing, and lead wine specialists while maintaining impeccable client service.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent business experience.
• Strong understanding of auction processes and business model.
• WSET Diploma preferred.
• Exceptional knowledge of fine and rare wines and vintages with valuation experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; client service excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Secure profitable consignments for auction and meet revenue targets.
• Provide advice to buyers for auction and retail channels.
• Participate in client development events and entertaining activities.
• Inspect property for auction wines at warehouses and client sites.
• Maintain high level of customer service and client communication.
