Job summary

DNV Business Assurance is seeking a seasoned Technical Manager & Accreditation Manager for the Americas region. The role focuses on governance of accreditation, ensuring compliance across North and South America, and leading technical leadership for auditors, reviewers, and operational teams.

Based in Houston, TX, the position collaborates with Global Technical Hub, accreditation bodies, and scheme owners to maintain integrity and effectiveness of management systems certification activities.

Responsibilities

• Accreditation Management responsibilities including maintaining accreditation compliance for Americas MSC activities and coordinating with accreditation bodies.
• Technical Governance duties ensuring consistent implementation of ISO/IEC 17021-1 and related accreditation requirements and monitoring certification process effectiveness.
• Competence Management tasks evaluating and approving auditor, reviewer, and competence approver qualifications and maintaining competence records.
• Technical Review & Certification Support overseeing technical reviews and certification authorizations for complex cases and assisting with escalation when needed.
• Stakeholder Support providing technical guidance to operations teams globally and cooperating with scheme managers and GTH colleagues worldwide.
