Job summary

Lonza in Greenwood, SC seeks an experienced Associate Director of Supply Chain Warehousing & Distribution to lead the Americas distribution network from a central site. You will develop regional logistics strategies, optimize network design, and drive service, cost efficiency, and compliance across the region.

The role leads ~15 professionals, manages a $30M logistics budget, and partners with carriers, 3PLs, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and resilient supply chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Distribution, Production Operations, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing with distribution and logistics exposure.
• Minimum 4 years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience operating within ERP and computer-assisted business systems.
• Strong organization, planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex logistics and distribution networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Americas distribution and logistics strategy.
• Oversee transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution activities across the Americas.
• Drive customer service excellence and OTIF improvements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and KPI performance across safety, service, quality, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and risk management across the region.
• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team.
