Job summary

Johnson Matthey Inc. is seeking an Americas Procurement Lead to shape strategy and execution across the region. You will partner with senior leaders to drive value through cost optimisation, supplier collaboration and sustainable sourcing.

You will lead a high‑performing procurement team across plants and business units, deliver strategic sourcing, contract management and risk mitigation, and champion governance and continuous improvement to strengthen procurement capability.

• Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies and lead large‑scale sourcing initiatives.

The role:

• Leading procurement strategy and execution across the Americas region, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global procurement priorities.
• Acting as a senior business partner to executive and operational stakeholders, driving value creation through cost optimisation, supply resilience, innovation and sustainability initiatives.
• Leading and developing a high-performing procurement team while fostering collaboration across plants, business units and the wider One Procurement Community.
• Delivering strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and contract management activities across complex direct and indirect spend categories.
• Driving procurement transformation, governance and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen procurement capability, performance and compliance.
• Managing supplier risk, ensuring responsible sourcing practices and maintaining a secure, high-performing supply base that supports business growth.
