Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking an Interconnection Manager for the Americas to lead network strategy across the U.S. and South America. You will harness an AI-first model to analyze traffic, model capacity, and surface peering opportunities while guiding backbone expansion and vendor negotiations.

You will collaborate with the Regional Network Acquisition Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, cost-efficient connectivity and strong partner relationships across the Americas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure or a similar technical field.
• Fluency with AI tools and agentic tooling to scale decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own interconnection and backbone strategy for the Americas, balancing U.S. and South American markets.
• Lead AI-first operating model; use AI-driven analytics to inform decisions and automate workflows.
• Formulate plans to optimize traffic flow across the region and expand backbone capacity.
• Negotiate complex interconnection agreements and Tier-1 partnerships.
• Set strategy for the Network Acquisition Manager and review sourcing recommendations.
• Represent Cloudflare in regional industry forums and collaborate cross-functionally.
