Cloudflare is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Cloudflare Network Interconnect (CNI) team in Austin. You will hire, mentor, and guide a distributed group of software engineers focused on private interconnects that connect enterprise networks to Cloudflare’s services.

You will align with product and engineering leaders to drive vision, roadmap, and cross-team objectives. You’ll bring 3+ years of experience leading engineers, strong IP networking expertise (BGP, L3 routing), and a bias for

Qualifications

3+ years experience as an Engineering Manager for a Software and Systems team.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with a track record of hiring and developing engineers.
Solid background in IP networking including BGP and interconnect technologies.

Responsibilities

Hire, mentor, and coach a distributed software engineering team.
Partner with Product Managers and senior leadership to shape roadmap and priorities.
Drive reliability and automation for provisioning pipelines and incident response.
Collaborate with Network Operations and partner teams on capacity planning and integrations.
