Job summary

Grant Thornton seeks a Director, Americas Integration Lead to drive end-to-end integration delivery across the Americas, leading a team of program managers and aligning with Global IMO standards. The role oversees multiple concurrent integrations, managing governance, risks, and stakeholder communications at senior levels.

The position requires extensive experience in M&A integrations, strong executive communication, and the ability to travel across the Americas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs, including significant M&A integrations.
• Experience coaching and developing program managers and integration professionals.
• Ability to manage high-risk integrations and escalations.
• Experience establishing governance, cross-functional workstreams, and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for integration delivery across the Americas portfolio from pre-close planning through Day 1 and stabilization.
• Lead and develop program managers responsible for day-to-day management of integrations.
• Directly manage selected integrations based on size, complexity, risk, or resource needs.
• Review and challenge integration plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and status reporting.
• Establish governance, reporting cadence, and ensure consistent use of playbooks, tools, and RAID logs.
• Manage priorities and capacity across concurrent integrations and adjust sequencing as needed.
• Coach program managers through stakeholder, execution, and escalation issues and ensure delivery.
• Lead Americas regional delivery and governance aligned with Global IMO standards.
