Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Carrier Management leader to own strategic and operational relationships across the Americas. You will drive negotiations, monitor performance, and lead escalations to protect service quality and cost efficiency.

The role requires 7–12 years in logistics, with strong analytics and stakeholder management skills, in a fast-paced environment. Based in Austin, TX with VP-level process ownership.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years in carrier management or related logistics roles.
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, DHL or comparable carriers and ecommerce infra.
• Strong negotiation capability and analytical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic and operational carrier relationships across the Americas portfolio.
• Lead negotiations on rates, surcharges, service commitments, and contract terms.
• Run quarterly business reviews and regular carrier-performance reviews.
• Monitor service, transit, and cost performance across key lanes.
• Lead major carrier escalations and drive corrective action.
