Job summary

Aston Chambers, an international food ingredients business, is seeking an Applications Manager to lead the regional applications capability in the Americas. You will guide the applications team, support sales and customers throughout product development, and ensure alignment with global expertise.

You will combine laboratory work with technical leadership and collaborative, cross-functional engagement across sales, marketing and customers to deliver innovative natural colour solutions and robust

Qualifications

• Six years of professional experience in the food industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related discipline.
• Strong product development and food applications experience.
• Experience leading, mentoring or developing technical personnel.
• Good understanding of food ingredients and their performance.
• Strong knowledge of analytical methods and data interpretation.
• Experience building stability data and validating formulations.
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and exhibitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the applications team across the Americas.
• Provide direct technical support to sales and customers throughout product development.
• Develop application concepts, product demonstrations and supporting materials for meetings and exhibitions.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to create technical presentations and webinars.
• Build stability and validation data for new applications and product categories.
• Share knowledge by collaborating with global applications leaders.
• Train new applications and sales colleagues on product properties and performance.
• Attend industry exhibitions and customer meetings as a representative of the business.
