Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. is seeking a Technical Development Manager to grow markets for sensory components and functional ingredients across beverages, dairy, bakery, confectionary, and plant-based foods in North America.

You will partner with producers, sales, and R&D teams to tailor technical solutions, visit accounts weekly, and drive customer projects to commercialization. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and industry knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

BS or MS in food science.
10+ years in food product development or technical sales.
Experience with flavors and colors in foods.
Understanding of beverage, dairy, bakery, and prepared foods operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow markets for flavors, colors, and functional ingredients in North American food industry.
Collaborate with sales and product teams to identify target accounts and entry strategies.
Visit accounts weekly with sales team and define customer needs at technical level.
Ensure successful commercialization and provide training to field staff.
