Job summary

Bridgeview Eye Partners is seeking a certified surgical technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center team. The role supports surgeons and nursing staff, ensures aseptic technique, and prepares operating room equipment for procedures, with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements include surgical tech training, current CST certification, ACLS, and at least one year OR experience. We offer 6.5 paid holidays, PTO after 60 days, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current certification in Cardiac Life Support is required.
• Completion of Surgical Technician training program and minimum of one year related work experience in operating room is required.
• Current Surgical Technology certification.
• Membership in surgical specialty society encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room, ensuring that all equipment is disinfected and ready for the procedure.
• Assist surgeon and staff during procedures by passing sterile instruments and supplies.
• Maintain aseptic technique and report breaks in technique.
• Isolate contaminated instruments to minimize infection spread.
• Receive specimens and prepare for laboratory analysis.
• Restock and clean operating room after procedures.
• Maintain inventory of surgical supplies.
• Perform duties as directed by Nursing/Medical leadership.
