Job summary

Bridgeview Eye Partners is seeking a Surgical Technologist in Kokomo, Indiana. In this role, you will assist surgeons and nursing staff in providing exceptional care during ophthalmic surgical procedures. You will be responsible for preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring a smooth workflow. The ideal candidate should have completed an accredited Surgical Technologist program and hold CST certification. Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, team-focused professional who thrives in a surgical environment.
• 1–2 years of experience in an OR or Ambulatory Surgery Center preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and efficient surgical procedures.
• Prepare and organize the operating room for procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout all cases.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently.
• Assist with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and sterilization.
• Support turnover between cases to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of the surgical team, you will support safe and efficient surgical procedures by:

• Preparing and organizing the operating room for procedures
• Maintaining a sterile field throughout all cases
• Anticipating surgeon needs and passing instruments efficiently
• Performing surgical counts in accordance with policy
• Assisting with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and sterilization processes
• Supporting turnover between cases to maintain workflow efficiency
• Collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff

What You Bring

Required:

• Physical Activity: Standing for sustained periods of time, Stooping, Grasping, Lifting, Talking, Hearing.
• Physical requirements: Light work. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs from shoulder to overhead.
