Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking an Ambulatory Surgery Associate I to support the Surgical Team across multiple centers. You will handle room setup, supply picking, case packing, and patient/material transport in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include infection control tasks, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure safe, efficient operations and top-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of related experience; customer/patient service preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment storage duties, contributing to safe, effective, and efficient patient care delivery.
• Assist nursing team by providing patient care and transporting specimens.
• Maintain operating room efficiency by addressing supplies, equipment issues, and environment problems.
• Handle unit supply inventory and pick cases, restocking and delivering to OR.
• Follow PPE protocols and participate in team activities.
