Qualifications

• Preferred 12–18 months experience as Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Associate.
• Preferred current medical assisting credential recognized by the CT Department of Public Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Room patients and perform tasks such as vital signs and specimen collection.
• Send/receive patient records and abstract into EPIC as required.
• Assist with administrative and environmental support responsibilities.
• Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary team.
