Job summary

OrthoNY is seeking a full-time Ambulatory Surgery Coordinator for the Everett Road Ambulatory Surgery Center in Albany, NY. You will welcome patients, handle scheduling, registration and front-desk operations in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Ideal candidates are organized, have 1–3 years healthcare experience, and proficient with EMR and MS Office. Monday–Friday 8am-4pm; no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant healthcare experience.
• Experience with surgical scheduling preferred.
• Billing and coding experience a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Excellent communication with patients and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect demographic, insurance, and referral info.
• Check-in patients and notify clinical staff when ready to be seen.
• Collect and post patient payments; balance daily journals.
• Answer phones; direct calls to appropriate departments.
• Schedule surgical procedures and manage updated schedules.
• Assist coworkers with filing and mail; other tasks as needed.
