Job summary

Northwest Eye Surgeons is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care to patients in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role delivers safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, state regulations, and facility policies.

Responsibilities include preoperative and postoperative calls, admission, assessment, monitoring, discharge, and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS and AED certifications required.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and ophthalmic procedures.
• Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing; RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preoperative and postoperative patient calls.
• Admit, assess, monitor, and discharge patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Provide intraoperative circulating services.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments and postoperative care.
• Maintain accurate medical records per regulations and facility procedures.
