Job summary

Northwest Eye Surgeons in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will work under physician orders and hospital standards to ensure patient safety and quality care.

The role involves preoperative and postoperative calls, patient assessment, medication administration, intraoperative circulating duties, and documentation. ACLS and AED certification are required, with ophthalmic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing.
• Active RN license issued by the applicable State Board.
• ACLS and AED certifications required.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and ophthalmic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preoperative and postoperative patient calls.
• Admit, assess, monitor, and discharge patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Provide intraoperative circulating services.
• Maintain accurate medical records and HIPAA compliance.
