Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited nursing program
• Registered nurse license in the state where the facility is located
• Minimum of three years of experience as a staff nurse

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing patient assessments across physiologic, psychological, and cognitive domains
• Develops and implements goal-directed care plans based on nursing diagnoses and outcomes
• Delivers care using nursing processes to achieve patient outcomes
• Prioritizes patient care considering needs and center resources
• Responds effectively in emergencies following established protocols
• Maintains knowledge across medical/surgical care, medications, labs, safety, and emergencies
• Documents on the floor and in patient records accurately and timely
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver patient care
• Maintains CPR/BLS (ACLS preferred) and PALS certifications
• Attends mandatory trainings and staff meetings
• Adapts to new ideas and approaches; supports patient rights policy
• Follows physician orders professionally and assists with other duties as needed
