Job summary

Briarcliff Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Pre-Op/PACU care in a state-of-the-art facility in Kansas City, MO. This PRN role focuses on planning, directing, and coordinating nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients to ensure safety and quality of care.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited RN degree, an active Missouri license, ACLS certification, and superb clinical judgment. Weekdays only; some evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients.
• Ensure highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while complying with professional standards.
• Provide care for patients from 1 month to geriatric in pre-op and PACU settings.
