Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing assessments focusing on physiologic, psychologic, and cognitive status.
• Develops goal-directed care plans and prioritizes based on nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Delivers care using nursing processes to achieve patient outcomes.
• Sets priority for patient care considering center resources and time.
• Responds calmly in emergencies following protocols and documents events.
• Applies knowledge of medical/surgical care, pain management, meds, labs, safety and legal issues.
• Demonstrates decision-making through problem identification and resolution.
• Documents patient care timely and accurately in the patient record.
• Collaborates with the team to deliver patient care and maintain standards.
• Maintains CPR/ACLS certification and participates in staff meetings.
