Job summary

Twin Cities Pain Clinic is seeking a Surgical Admission Unit/Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse to provide clinical nursing in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and support efficient ASC operations.

The role requires Minnesota RN licensure, ACLS/BLS, and at least one year of ASC nursing experience; both pre- and post-procedure activities are included, with opportunities to participate in staff development and cross-training.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Minnesota RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS through AHA required.
• One year of RN experience in ambulatory surgical center environment required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains courteous relations with patients and ASC users.
• Oversees nursing practice in the ASC including patient care planning.
• Directs other caregivers in patient care.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors vital signs.
• Performs pre-operative teaching and coordinates patient flow through the ASC.
• Ensures staff competencies and participates in staff development.
