Job summary

Garden State Surgical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to support both Pre-Operative and PACU functions in an ambulatory surgery setting. The role emphasizes assessing patients, preparing them for surgery, and monitoring recovery with emphasis on safety and patient education.

The successful candidate will have NJ RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and at least two years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in perioperative care, with strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or obtainable within timeframe.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in Pre-Op, PACU, or ambulatory settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prepare, monitor, and educate patients undergoing outpatient procedures.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and postoperative expectations.
