Job summary

You will assess patients, administer medications, and collaborate with surgeons and the healthcare team to promote safety and outcomes.

The role requires Kansas RN license and CPR/BLS; ACLS/PALS may be obtained after hire. Strong IT skills and familiarity with CPSI/ProVation are helpful.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Kansas.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications can be obtained after hire.
• Basic computer literacy within a Windows environment, including word processing, internet, and computer-based education.
• Prior experience using CPSI and ProVation documentation software would be helpful but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.
• Perform patient assessments and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Provide IV therapy and wound care and monitor patient progress for quality outcomes.
• Educate patients and families and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation, promote patient comfort and safety, and demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and leadership.
