Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Emporia, KS seeks a Registered Nurse for Pre-Op and Post-Op care in our surgical suite. This PRN role involves supporting daily clinic operations, patient assessment, and coordination with surgeons and staff.

Responsibilities include supervising patient care in the operating room, adhering to HIPAA, maintaining records, and participating in ongoing education. Requirements: accredited nursing program graduate, KS RN license, BLS, and 1 year OR/ASC/PACU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• One year of nursing experience in surgical, ASC, Pre/Post-Op, PACU, ICU, Medical Surgical, Telemetry or OR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and document nursing care.
• Supervise and direct patient care in an operating room.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and patient rights.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in education/training.
• Coordinate care and communicate with team and management.
