Job summary

Northwestern Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a part-time RN Clinical Educator to support Ambulatory Surgery. The educator will develop unit-specific orientation, supervise preceptors, and advance EMR training in Meditech alongside the RN Informaticist. A BSN is required with VT RN licensure; MSN is preferred.

Five years of nursing/educator experience is needed. The position is on-site in St. Albans, VT, offering a generous benefits package and potential to move to full-time with 80 hours

Qualifications

• BSN required; VT RN license.
• 5 years nursing/educator experience; master's may substitute for 2 years.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office; BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit-specific education and onboarding for new hires, including orientation for new graduates.
• Develop educational plans, implement ongoing instruction across shifts, and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Ensure clinical documentation quality and EMR training in partnership with RN Informaticist.
• Collaborate with other unit Educators to deliver comprehensive education and improve outcomes.
