Job summary

Northwestern Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a part-time RN Clinical Educator to support the Operating Room in Vermont. The role includes onboarding new hires, competency development, and EMR training with Meditech.

You may also work clinically as staffing dictates to stay current with practice standards. The position requires a BSN and Vermont RN licensure, with 5 years of nursing/educator experience; MSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN licensure in Vermont.
• 5 years nursing, educator, or nurse instructor experience required; Master's can substitute 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and oversees unit onboarding and new hire clinical experiences.
• Develops educational plans and conducts ongoing instruction across shifts; evaluates training impact.
• Ensures high-quality patient care and evidence-based nursing practice; supports Five Star Caring Always program.
• Performs Nurse Leader rounding to coach staff and develop improvement plans.
• Collaborates with other units to maintain care quality; provides subject-matter support.
• Acts as preceptor for new hires and oversees unit preceptors; ensures adequate preceptor knowledge.
• Administers LMS and coordinates Meditech training; maintains staff records and coursework.
