Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Ambulatory Surgery at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. The role supports travel to Evanston, Skokie and Highland Park Hospitals, with a 32 hour/week schedule and daytime start times.

Responsibilities include independent nursing care for diverse patient populations, using the nursing process, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. Licensure in IL and CPR/BLS are required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• IL RN License and CPR/BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care on a specific unit using the nursing process.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care; involve patient and family as appropriate.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in practice.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
