Job summary

GBMC Health Partners is seeking an Ambulatory Practice Manager to run day-to-day operations across 1-2 practices. You will oversee patient access, registration, revenue cycle, scheduling, and staffing to ensure efficient care delivery.

You will partner with physicians and staff to improve patient experience, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance while managing budgets and leading projects through others.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Health Administration or related field is required.
• 2 years of progressive, supervisory medical practice management experience is required.
• Knowledge of ambulatory medical practice operations and EPIC is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of physician practice billing systems and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct clerical and clinical staff in one or more activities: medical support, transcription, billing, and front-office duties.
• Accountable for budget in coordination with CFO and COO.
• Improve patient registration processes and patient flow to enhance access to care.
• Direct, supervise, and coach front-office and clinical staff.
• Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations and improve quality/safety metrics.
• Develop and implement workflow processes and training to meet budget and standards.
