Job summary
Lahey Medical Center in Peabody, MA is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership across Ambulatory Surgery, PACU, and Endoscopy. The role oversees daily clinical workflow, staff development, compliance, and high-quality outpatient surgical care.
The Nurse Manager reports to Nursing Directors under the CNO/ACNO and collaborates with key stakeholders to coordinate patient care, plan care delivery, and ensure regulatory adherence in a fast-paced ambulatory
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years nursing leadership in perioperative or ambulatory surgery.
- Leadership role under CNO/ACNO guidance; staff development emphasis.
- Collaborates with department leadership and stakeholders for patient care delivery.
- Current Massachusetts RN license.
Responsibilities
- Clinical practice oversight across Ambulatory Surgery, PACU and Endoscopy.
- Coordinate system-wide workflow and process improvements.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and data-driven decision making.
- Manage human resources: staffing, performance appraisals, and orientation.
- Ensure fiscal responsibility and regulatory/compliance adherence.
