Job summary

Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, practice development, and policy communication across patient care units. You will lead staff performance, coordinate services with leadership, and ensure high-quality nursing care in alignment with LHMC standards.

Requires MA RN licensure, BSN (MSN preferred), and a strong background in clinical practice, system coordination, quality improvement, HR management, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved or accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Life Support Certification: BLS Certification with the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and assures compliance with Nursing Practice Guidelines.
• Leads Shared Governance Councils, nursing committees, and organization committees.
• Maintains knowledge of current professional/clinical issues and uses evidence-based resources to improve care.
• Collaborates with leadership to provide staff development opportunities.
• Partners with Human Resources to recruit, hire, and retain qualified personnel.
• Participates in development of annual departmental budgets and cost-effective staffing.
