Job summary

Join the Cleveland Clinic West Palm Beach team as an RN for the Rapid Response Program, providing professional nursing care across ambulatory settings and supporting caregivers in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

You will partner with the ER Rapid Response physician to respond to acutely ill patients, coordinate transfers, and support departments with prior authorizations, telephone triage, and other needs, enhancing patient care and information flow.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or Red Cross
• ACLS/ALS certification within six months of hire
• One year of recent RN experience
• LPN/MA transitioning within Cleveland Clinic ambulatory setting eligible for RN role
• BSN within three years (preferred)
• Two years of experience (preferred)
• Outpatient/ambulatory experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assess health status by completing a nursing assessment
• Perform telephone triage
• Notify physicians/LIPs of abnormal findings
• Establish a care plan with patient/family and health care team
• Collaborate with care coordinators for transitions of care
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Initiate CPR and emergency measures
• Provide health education to patients and families
• Document education to learning needs
• Participate in quality initiatives and process improvements
• Maintain professional growth and core nursing competencies

Education

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN)

Current RN licensure

BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross)

ACLS/ALS certification within 6 months of hire

One year RN experience

Pathways for LPN/MA transferring to RN in ambulatory setting
