Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ clinical practice, ambulatory practice preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) credential required.
• RN license, valid in the State of New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process effectively across the health care continuum.
• Coordinates and completes patient assessment and re-assessment to impact quality outcomes.
• Assesses barriers to learning and coordinates patient/family teaching.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality according to HIPAA.
• Documents in Epic as appropriate and supports interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Triages phone calls and assists with scheduling appointments based on acuity.
• Reviews labs and patient messages in collaboration with clinicians.
• Maintains safety and follows patient safety goals within practice.
• Pursues ongoing learning to enhance clinical competency and professional development.
