Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an RN to join the Fairview Hospital ambulatory care team, delivering high-quality nursing during chemotherapy infusions. You will interact with patients, families and staff, assess needs, administer treatments, and participate in teaching and care planning.

Minimum qualifications include ADN/BSN, RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (within six months), and at least one year of RN experience; oncology certification or ongoing education is required for oncology-related work.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross
• ACLS certification within six months of hire
• One year of RN experience or equivalent ambulatory clinical experience
• Cancer-specific certification or ongoing qualifying education for oncology/chemotherapy administration

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting
• Assess health status and establish care plans
• Administer medications and treatments
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures
• Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings
• Assist with diagnostic or therapeutic procedures and equipment
• Develop and provide health education to patients and families
• Cover other nursing roles within the department
• Travel within the region to support clinics and procedures
