Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Twinsburg Family Health Center seeks an RN Ambulatory - Oncology Infusion, Float to join the Hematology Oncology-Ambulatory Operations team in Twinsburg, OH. The role involves day shifts with 7:30am-4:30pm/8:00am-4:30pm schedules and potential triage coverage.

You will provide ambulatory nursing care, administer treatments, and support cancer patients across clinics. Minimum qualifications include RN licensure, BLS, and 1 year of related experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• One year of recent experience as an RN or LPN, Medical Assistant or similar clinical role when transferring within Cleveland Clinic ambulatory settings.
• Cancer-specific certification or ongoing qualifying education.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephonic triage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate and educate patients and families.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and procedures.
