Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital seeks an RN to join the GYN Oncology Moll Cancer Center in an ambulatory capacity. This Magnet Hospital delivers exceptional care and values nursing excellence.

As an RN, you will support chemotherapy infusions, patient assessments, medication administration, and care coordination with physicians, families and caregivers. The role may require regional travel to support clinics and procedures within the Moll Cancer Center network.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS through AHA within six months of hire.
• One year of RN experience preferred; oncology experience a plus.
• Cancer-specific certification or ongoing qualifying education if oncology-related.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments including chemotherapy.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures as required.
• Notify physicians of abnormal findings and coordinate with LIP.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and equipment.
• Educate patients and families on health management.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department; regional travel may be required to support clinics.
