WVU Health System – WVU Hospitals in Morgantown seeks an RN to deliver ambulatory nursing care using the nursing process. The role demands sound clinical judgment, direct patient care, and collaboration with the health team to ensure quality outcomes.

Must hold an active RN license in the service state or a multi-state license per eNLC and obtain BLS within 30 days of hire. BSN preferred; duties include mentoring and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where services will be provided or multi-state RN license via eNLC.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: BSN or ASN/Diploma in nursing; BSN within 5 years of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory settings using the nursing process.
• Conduct initial assessments and facilitate appropriate follow‑up with the health care team.
• Use independent nursing judgment to guide care and interventions.
• Mentor and educate patients and families about health needs.
• Assist in orientation and development of other staff as needed.
