Job summary

Corewell Health’s Pain Management department in Grand Rapids seeks team-oriented staff to deliver quality patient care under RN or Provider supervision. The role involves basic patient assessments, documentation, and coordination within a Spine Center that includes physical medicine, spine surgery, and pain intervention. Full-time, day shift (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.), 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday.

Requires high school diploma and BLS. No weekends.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CRT-BLS (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Or ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required.

• Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of an RN or Provider.
• Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to the health care team.
• Ensures accurate and timely documentation of observations and patient needs.

Our Spine Center works together to provide personalized care based on each patient’s health journey. Our unique approach matches each patient with the most appropriate specialist from diagnosis through treatment and rehabilitation. We offer 3 specialties in one location, Physical Medicine Rehab, Spine Surgery, and Pain Intervention that all offer many different modalities of treatment including (but not limited to) non-surgical treatments/conservative care, surgical treatments, outpatient procedures, and pain psychology. No weekends or holidays! Clinical staff work four 10hr shifts with one consistent day off during the week.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of Work

Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team. Collects and reports physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs of patients and families in coordination with and as delineated by the RN or Provider. Ensures that required documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner.
