Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to design and implement process improvements to meet Joint Commission, CMS and other regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Surveil, analyze, and prevent events that may injure patients or lead to malpractice claims.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health care teams to reduce adverse medical outcomes and liability.
• Engage in sentinel event investigations, safety event investigations, and trend analysis; contribute to risk management program development and educational in-services.
