The role serves as an internal consultant, developing improvement plans and interpreting regulations for education and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or healthcare field required.
• Master's degree in healthcare field preferred.
• RN preferred.
• Minimum 5 years hospital experience required; clinical/operational experience preferred.
• Knowledge of TJC, DNV, CMS.
• Conditions of Participation and familiarity with other regulatory standards desirable.
• Continuing education in standards/regulations/training QI/PI team member 1–3 years required.
• Broad cross-functional experience with multiple departments or a deep single service line.
• Experience presenting to leadership of departments, product lines, and business units.
• Knowledge of current healthcare issues and trends.

Responsibilities

• Serves as an internal consultant for interpretation of standards and measurement of compliance.
• Develops performance improvement plans with management and staff as needed.
• Interprets new regulations for education purposes and implementation efforts.
