Qualifications

The Ambulatory Quality Assurance (QA) Nurse provides support and direction to the clinical support staff and providers related to clinical practice improvements, clinical competency and continuous quality improvement. The QA Nurse partners with operational and clinical leaders to develop and ensure continued quality and accreditation-focused environments and practices, focusing on delivery of safe patient care. The QA Nurse works with other quality and clinical support staff to ensure standardized processes are maintained that promote health prevention measures and care gap closure, improving the health outcomes of our patients. The QA nurse works to coordinate performance improvement activities to align with relevant quality initiatives and system identified priorities.

Responsibilities

Education

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License, NY required

Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
• Work experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting is preferred
