Job summary

tbhcareers seeks a Nursing Leader to direct all nursing and quality management activities across our ambulatory network in New York. The role drives compliance with Joint Commission standards and infection control, while collaborating with senior management on performance improvement.

You will lead nursing staff, develop policies, and foster a collaborative environment focused on quality, patient service, and timely delivery across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum two years RN ambulatory care experience.
• New York State RN license.
• BCLS certification.
• Knowledge of PCMH, DSRIP, Meaningful Use and HEDIS.
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills.

Job description

Leads and directs all nursing and quality management activities of the ambulatory network of sites, Joint Commission compliance, performance improvement, and infection control. Develops strategic plans and policies for improved quality throughout the ambulatory network. Works with and supervises nursing staff to ensure compliance. Works with senior management to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Works closely with the senior clinical and administrative teams to improve overall quality of care and service through continuous performance improvement. Oversees the nursing aspect of ambulatory operations, including trainings, evaluation and competencies. Creates a collaborative and efficient work environment with attention to quality standards and policies.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as Registered Professional Staff Nurse in an ambulatory care clinical setting.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as Registered Professional Staff Nurse in an ambulatory care clinical setting.
• New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nuse
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Knowledge of PCMH, DSRIP, Meaningful Use and HEDIS programs.
